Scope of Practice:
Rachael has been providing therapy for children for 15 years in private practice and has come to truly love the process of communicating through symbols and metaphors, with puzzles and figurines, or a lively sword fight. She has experience working with a wide variety of challenges that children and their families face and approaches every situation with curiosity and non-judgement always seeking to support families to learn, shift, heal, and live with more ease. She calls her therapeutic style Relational Embodied Play Therapy. It is mostly non-directive, neuroscience informed and attachment focused. Rachael’s work with children is a somatic, right brained, bottom up approach that is always focused on repairitive relational experiences.
Rachael teaches, offers workshops, and meets with therapists for group and individual supervision.
