Scope of Practice:
I hold a PhD in Developmental Psychology (2013) from Queen’s University and bring a strong foundation in lifespan development, attachment, and relational processes to my clinical work. My practice is grounded in an attachment-based, trauma-informed framework, with extensive experience supporting individuals impacted by developmental and relational trauma. I am trained in Circle of Security, Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I integrate these approaches flexibly to meet each client’s unique needs. My work focuses on helping clients understand and shift longstanding emotional and interpersonal patterns, build self-compassion, and develop more secure and adaptive ways of relating to themselves and others. I am particularly attuned to issues of emotional regulation, identity, and the lasting impact of early experiences, and I aim to create a safe, collaborative therapeutic environment that supports meaningful and lasting shifts in how clients experience themselves and their relationships.
