Community of Practice
“Shaping the Future of Play Therapy Supervision Together”
Who Should Attend?
CAPT Supervisors and Supervisors in Training
Supervisors play a critical role in shaping the future of play therapy in Canada. The Community of Practice (CoP) is being created to provide a collaborative space where supervisors can share expertise, strengthen supervision practices, and help guide the development of CAPT certification, training, and policies.
Next Steps
We are asking two things to members of the next Community of Practice.
- To send to the Executive Director any agenda items you would like to have addressed at the next Community of Practice.
- To send in any Supervisory Issue that you would like to have some discussion on.
We may not be able to cover all items, but after receiving we will try to identify themes as well as examples of supervisory issues to have a deeper discussion or presentation on.
Please pencil in September 18, 2026, 2pm to 4pm EST. Registration will open in August. A link and agenda will be sent out a week before.
