Carla Eckstrom is a trauma therapist and Certified Play Therapist through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy. She specializes in supporting children and youth ages five and up, providing developmentally attuned and evidence informed care.
Carla’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger, self esteem challenges, parent–child conflict, all forms of abuse, and general coping difficulties. Using an integrated therapeutic approach, Carla collaborates with each client to develop a treatment plan that addresses their concerns in a compassionate, healthy, and healing manner.
Carla incorporates a wide range of therapeutic modalities in her practice and is committed to tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs and goals of every individual. She has recently completed Level One Internal Family Systems (IFS) training and holds certification with the Canadian Association for Play Therapy.
