Danielle Olivieri is a Registered Clinical Social Worker and Certified Play Therapist. She brings to you over 20 years of experience working with individuals to gain independence, empowerment and personal growth. She is specialized in child and family therapy, trauma and complex grief, mental health challenges, developmental difficulties as well as a strong understanding of neurobiology. She is trained in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, an evidenced based and well researched intervention to treat trauma and other symptoms of distress. She is honoured to be an approved provider for Indigenous Services Canada.
With a strong working alliance built on trust and genuine care for others, individuals both young and old, can safely move towards growth and development. Flourish Play Therapy and Counselling will offer a nonjudgmental environment to explore and delve deeply into exploring the ways to unlocking barriers to personal growth and empowerment.
Finding your voice and living life fully can often be challenging. She will support your child, or yourself, to feel more empowered in the face of difficult life experiences.
