As a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW), Certified Play Therapist (CPT), and Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with more than 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families, I provide compassionate, developmentally responsive, and trauma-informed care.
I specialize in helping children navigate big emotions, strengthen resilience, and build secure relationships through the healing power of play. My practice is grounded in attachment theory, neurobiology, and child-centred, strengths-based approaches that recognize every child’s unique experiences and potential.
Based in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, I offer in-person and virtual therapy for children, youth, and families across the province. I integrate child-centred play therapy, Theraplay-informed interventions, expressive arts, sensory regulation, and parent coaching to support emotional growth, healthy relationships, and overall well-being.
